This is a Full-time position; Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm; work one Saturday every 7 weeks. Qualifications: must possess skills to provide therapeutic services, which include traditional therapeutic and life skills groups to adults, children and adolescents. The therapist also serves as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team. Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related degree required. Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist required. Must have one to three years of therapeutic recreation experience; experience with inpatient psychiatry preferred. Must be able to complete T.O.V.A. (Therapeutic Options of Virginia) training within 6 months of employment in the position.
